As a choreographer, Ryn is drawn to movement that makes you look twice. Her choreography plays with texture, geometric shape, timing, and physicality to create work that feels precise without becoming overly polished or predictable.

Rooted in contemporary and jazz, her movement language is built on a strong technical foundation while continually pushing toward the unexpected. She gravitates toward contrast—sharpness against release, intricate detail against larger physicality, and moments of control disrupted by something less refined.

Specificity is central to her creative process. Rather than simply reproducing shapes, dancers are encouraged to understand the intention behind the movement and bring their own individuality to it. The result is choreography that is visually striking, conceptually grounded, and recognizable in its movement language.

As her work continues to evolve, Ryn remains driven by experimentation and curiosity, allowing new influences to shape her practice while maintaining the precision, individuality, and distinct perspective at the core of her work.
